Cynernetics
Because she grew up in one of the earliest Unseen settlements, Jael recieved her Spryt later than the average citizen. After leaving the settlement and making her own way to Chongquing, Jael had her Spryt installed when she was 15. Jael's Spryt is called Spryt because no one told her she could give it a unique name. They have a detached and professional relationship. Unlike most people who consider their Spryts as a companion if not a friend, Jael sees her Spryt simply as another tool. Despite this, she is quite adept at using her Spryt exceeding the effectiveness of most Human-Spryt relationships.
Bionics
Six years ago, Jael had her left ete replaced with an Argus Tactical Model VI, a lab grown eye that provides her with multiple types of visual enhancements:
- Multi-Spectral Vision
- Infrared/Ultraviolet Imaging detects heat signatures (for night vision, tracking targets in darkness) and ultraviolet patterns (e.g., forensic evidence, hidden security markings).
- Polarized Light Detection identifies material stress (cracks in structures) or camouflaged objects by analyzing light polarization.
- AI-Powered Scene Analysis
- Real-Time Threat Detection uses deep learning to flag weapons, hostile movements, or environmental hazards (e.g., unstable terrain).
- Enhanced Biometric Scanning recognizes individuals via gait analysis, thermal signatures, or retinal patterns, even in crowds.
- Enhanced Ranges and Sensors
- Adjustable Zoom (3x–30x) enables long-range surveillance or microscopic inspection.
- Low-Light Optimization functions in 0.001 lux (starlight-level darkness) with minimal noise.
- High-Speed Tracking processes motion at 1,000 fps (vs. human 60 fps), critical for intercepting fast-moving threats.
- LIDAR Mapping generates 3D depth maps for precision navigation in complex environments.
- EM Spectrum Detection identifies active electronics, wireless signals, or power sources via electromagnetic emissions.
- Lab-Grown Biological Improvements
- Lab-grown Retinal Tissue repairs minor damage, reducing rejection risks and maintaining optical clarity.
- Bioengineered Photoreceptors interface seamlessly with cybernetic sensors, minimizing latency (≈1 ms delay).
